About Us
We are a chess club based in the Joe McKay Community Centre in Bellshill, and meet on Monday nights of September to April from 7.15pm - 10.15pm. Click below for further information such as membership fees or contact details.

As many of you will know, Derek Lafferty has been in hospital since 1st December having suffered a heart attack which necessitated two major operations.
I visited Derek on Tuesday of this week and am pleased to report that he is on the mend, but his recovery will take time. As yet there is no date for his discharge from hospital but he thinks it will be after Xmas anyway.
Derek is in the Golden Jubilee Hospital, Ward 3 East, Room 322
